Welcome back class.
Like I said many weeks ago, this lesson will be more directed toward the females in class, since the veela were more for the guys.
I've brought foals, middle-aged, and full-grown unicorns today for class. Now before I start talking you all might want to take some of this down, I noticed many of you did not do so hot on the exams.
When foals are born they are golden, in color. They get they turn silver at age 2, and get their horns at about age 4. At seven they reach full-grown and turn their well-known shade of white.
Now boys, if you would come over with the foals (gold and silver) and ladies go to either one you feel like. I suggest you do not offend them. I will not risk any one being gored. (even though I'm not liable.) Just pet them a little bit, maybe feed them some sugar cubes.
You all know, or should know, about Unicorn properties. I'm sure Pr. Star has already gone through how useful powedered Unicorn horns are. Expensive too, sheesh. And many of you may know that the unicorn tail hair is an essential wand core in many wands.
Normally you do not ride Unicorns, they are too pure for carrying vermin like us on their backs. But in grave peril, or under the most extreme circumstances, they may allow you to ride them. I believe I knew someone who had a unicorn as somewhat of a pet. But that is very uncommon, they are similar to centaurs in that repect. Most consider it shameful to bear a human upon their backs.
No h/w, but if anyone would like EC, please pm me the appearance and properties of unicorn's blood, and what is so unlucky about those who drink it. About 25 words.
That is all, good-day
